Construction Near Detroit Metro Airport / Ann Arbor Area
Drivers headed to Detroit Metro Airport may want to plan additional time. There is continued construction in and around the airport area. If you are taking a flight that departs from the McNamara Terminal, it is suggested you access the McNamara Terminal via I-275.

When making flight arrangements for NTI, the closest airport serving the most passenger airlines is Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), approximately 25 miles east of Ann Arbor or about a half-hour ride by car and services nearly all major airlines.
Getting from the airport to your hotel is easy and convenient. You can grab a cab, arrange one of the shuttles or pick-up a rental car, keep in mind parking on campus is very limited.

Using the NTI Shuttle Bus Service will save you some parking headaches, but if you are driving you can find parking information here.
Around Ann Arbor
The NTI bus service will transport participants from the recommended hotels to all NTI activities and classes. Bus routes will include the Downtown Ann Arbor Area in the evenings. Parking is extremely limited near the University of Michigan Campus and in the downtown area. There are a few pay by the hour lots available. We strongly recommend using the NTI bus service to get around.
The bus service will also be utilized to get to special events.
